Laura Stanczyk Productions is an independent productions company dedicated to fostering new works as well as assisting other producers in the development and promotion of their new work. Projects include:
WHEN HARRY MET REHAB
Laura is a consulting producer on the development and world premier of WHEN HARRY MET REHAB, a new play about the ups, downs and in the middles of the process of recognizing and learning to live as a recovering alcoholic. Premiering at Chicago's Greenhouse Theatre in December of 2022, WHEN HARRY MET REHAB will speak to audiences across the country who are of have a loved one struggling with addiction.
BULL DURHAM
With co-producers Jack Viertel and Rick Steiner, Laura developed and produced the world premier of the musical adaptation of BULL DURHAM with book by original writer/director Ron Shelton and music and lyrics by Susan Werner. Bull Durham premiered at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia and will soon launch a national tour.
DRURY LANE THEATRE

Laura works with Chicagoland's famed Drury Lane Theatre to identify and develop new works of musical theatre, most recently the musical adaptation of BEACHES and the heartwarming musical adaptation of Ted Key's timeless comic strip, HAZEL.
